The process

Three steps to smooth skin

First time here? No problem – this is how your treatment with us works.

01

Consultation & skin analysis

We start with a free initial consultation – take a little time for it. We look at your hair colour, thickness and density, go through your medical history and do a skin tolerance check: a few single laser pulses on a small patch of skin. This shows us how your skin reacts – some reactions only appear after a few hours. Prices per zone are fixed and listed here – together, we simply decide on the right zones and intervals.

02

The treatment

We cleanse the zone and carefully cover sensitive spots such as tattoos or moles. Then comes a thin layer of contact gel – it lets the handpiece glide and helps more light into the skin. Safety goggles on, and off we go. The 360° contact cooling in the handpiece cools your skin before every pulse – which is why most people find the treatment almost painless.

03

Aftercare & skincare

We soothe your skin with gentle care and give you clear aftercare tips to take home.

Getting ready for your treatment +
  • The day before, shave the zone thoroughly and exfoliate gently.
  • No plucking, waxing or epilating – from four weeks before your appointment, please only shave. The laser needs the hair in its root as a target; without hair, the session has nothing to work on.
  • Avoid the sun: from about four weeks before, no sunbeds, no intense sun, no self-tanner – and SPF 50 on the zone every day. No sun at all on the day before your treatment.
  • If you have sunburn, we’ll reschedule your appointment. Irritated or freshly burnt skin is not treated.
  • Previous laser or IPL treatment elsewhere: with fewer than eight previous treatments, allow at least eight weeks since your last session (four weeks for the face). After eight or more previous treatments, we recommend a one-year break so the hair can recover. Either way, your appointment with us counts as your first treatment.
  • Stop using self-tanner and antiperspirant deodorant one week before, and exfoliate daily during that week.
  • On the day of your treatment, ideally come freshly showered with clean skin – no deodorant, cream, oil, perfume or make-up on the zone. Best to skip energy drinks right before.
  • And in general: drink plenty of water in the days before – well-hydrated skin is more comfortable to treat.
  • If you have a cold or an infection, we’d rather reschedule your appointment.
After the treatment +
  • The first few days: be gentle with your skin – no sunbeds, no sauna, no sport, no exfoliating, no chlorinated water. Cool the area as needed, then apply a rich moisturiser. Slight redness is normal and usually fades within a few hours.
  • Sun protection: apply SPF 50 to the treated zone every day until your next session – it’s the most effective protection against pigmentation marks.
  • Over the first one to three weeks, the treated hairs gradually fall out. That’s normal and exactly what we want. Tip: wait about two weeks, then shave the area – that’s the best way to see how much less hair there is.
  • Until your next appointment: shave only – no plucking and no waxing. Exfoliating twice a week helps prevent ingrown hairs.
  • As soon as your usual hair growth returns (around two to four weeks on the face, around six to eight weeks on the body), it’s time for your next appointment.

The prices shown apply per zone and per individual session – not to a finished overall result. A long-lasting result usually takes around 10 sessions, varying from person to person and spaced several weeks apart. Occasional top-up sessions may be useful later on.

Our technology
★ The first MeDioStar Prime Gold in Austria

Brand new. Built in 2026.
Prime Gold.

Our gold standard for noticeably smooth skin.

A laser is nothing more than light – focused, precise, powerful. We have deliberately invested in a brand-new diode laser of the latest generation: the Asclepion Prime Gold, developed in Germany. Not because it sounds good, but because you can feel the difference.

This device is the first MeDioStar Prime Gold in Austria. For you, that means nothing abstract: current technology instead of the previous generation, plenty of power per pulse and cooling that sits right on the skin – which is why the treatment is powerful and still easy to tolerate.

In concrete terms: a class 4 diode laser with two wavelengths at once – 808 nanometres for contrast on the hair, 940 nanometres for depth. Contact cooling built right into the handpiece, which cools the skin surface before every pulse. And two treatment modes: a gentle area mode for large zones and a precise spot mode for the face and detail work – we choose the right one zone by zone.

✦ Brand new 2026 Diode laser Contact cooling German laser manufacturer

Two wavelengths

808 nm targets the hair with high contrast, 940 nm reaches deeper – both at once, from a single handpiece.

Comfortable cooling

The cooling sits in the handpiece, not in the gel – your skin is cooled before every pulse.

Shorter sessions

Highly efficient energy delivery – whole zones are done noticeably faster than with older devices.

Focused laser light

A laser sends one defined, focused colour of light straight to the hair root – especially precise and deep. That’s exactly why most studios rely on lasers today.

✦Frequently asked questions✦

Treatment

How does laser hair removal work? +

The laser light is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair and converted into heat. This heat switches off the hair root in a targeted way and inhibits regrowth – while the cooling protects the surrounding skin.

Does the treatment hurt? +

Thanks to strong skin cooling, most clients find the treatment almost painless – many describe it as pleasantly cool. A slight feeling of warmth or tingling is normal.

Laser or IPL – what’s the difference? +

IPL works with a broadly scattered flash of light across many colours of light. A diode laser, on the other hand, focuses one defined wavelength and delivers the energy in a targeted way, deep down to the hair root – which makes it especially precise. Both methods can reduce hair; we deliberately work with a diode laser.

Advantages over shaving, waxing & sugaring? +

Shaving often irritates the skin and means daily effort; waxing only lasts a short time. Laser hair removal works at the root, reduces hair growth over the long term and is gentler, especially on sensitive skin.

How long does a session take? +

Anything from a few minutes to around an hour, depending on the zone. The upper lip is done in a few minutes; full legs take considerably longer. For your first appointment, please allow 45 to 60 minutes – most of that is consultation, skin analysis and the skin tolerance check.

How much time is there between sessions? +

Around two to four weeks on the face, around six to eight weeks on the body – as soon as your usual hair growth returns.

Who it’s for

Who is the treatment suitable for? +

For women and men, and for almost all skin and hair types. With very light, blonde or grey hair, the effect is weaker (less melanin) – we’ll discuss this honestly in your consultation.

Is there a minimum age? +

As a rule, we only treat people aged 18 and over.

When is laser treatment not possible? +

We don’t treat in cases of sunburn or freshly sun-exposed skin in the area (sun within the last 24 hours), acute skin inflammation, open wounds or herpes in the zone, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with certain medications that make the skin sensitive to light (e.g. some antibiotics and acne medications), or with some pre-existing conditions – including, among others, cancer, active autoimmune diseases and skin conditions in the treatment area. We cover up or leave out tattoos, moles and varicose veins. White, grey and very light hairs contain too little pigment and cannot be treated. Before every treatment, we go through a detailed medical history – and if anything speaks against it, we’ll tell you honestly, even if it means losing an appointment.

Results

Is the hair removal really permanent? +

The technical term is permanent hair reduction: over several sessions, hair growth is reduced significantly and for the long term. Complete hair loss that is guaranteed forever is not possible – the result depends on your skin and hair type, and individual fine hairs can grow back over time (but occasional top-up sessions keep this well under control).

How many sessions will I need? +

Because only hairs in the active growth phase can be treated – and at any one time that’s only about 15–25 % – several sessions are needed. Usually it’s around 10 sessions – varying from person to person, fewer for some, more for others. Occasional top-up sessions may be useful later on. With every session, hair growth becomes visibly lighter.

What does the success of the treatment depend on? +

The laser works best with good contrast – meaning dark hair on lighter skin. Hair density and thickness, your skin type and individual factors such as hormonal influences (e.g. thyroid or menopause) also play a role. That’s why the course of treatment is a little different for everyone – in the free initial consultation, we’ll give you an honest assessment.

When will I see the first results? +

Not straight away. The treated hairs are gradually pushed out over one to three weeks – until then, it looks as if nothing is happening. Our tip: wait about two weeks after your appointment, then shave the area. That’s the best way to see how much less hair there really is.

Suddenly there’s more hair again in between – is that normal? +

Yes, that’s part of the process – don’t be surprised, we’ll tell you in advance. The laser only ever reaches the hairs that are currently in their growth phase; at any given time, that’s only about 15–25 %. All other hair roots are resting and can’t be treated in that session at all – they first have to fall out and then be caught in their next growth phase. That’s exactly why, somewhere between the fourth and sixth session, it can sometimes look as if more hair is suddenly coming back: these are hairs that simply couldn’t be reached before. Keep shaving as normal, exfoliate twice a week – and stick with the series. Stopping at this point means giving away most of the result.

Prep & aftercare

Do I need to shave beforehand – or let the hair grow? +

Shave – the day before. The hair needs to sit in the root so the laser can find it – but it mustn’t stick out of the skin, otherwise energy is wasted on the surface. Please never pluck, wax, epilate or use hair removal cream: that removes exactly what we want to target. This applies from four weeks before your first appointment and for the whole time between sessions.

Can I have laser treatment in summer? +

Yes. A tan alone isn’t an obstacle – what matters is the condition of your skin on the day of treatment. Two things are important: no sun on the zone in the 24 hours before, and no sunburn. Even slight redness must have healed completely – otherwise we’d rather reschedule. The lighter the skin, the greater the contrast with the hair and the more gently we can work: so in summer, protect the zone consistently with SPF 50 and avoid sunbeds. If you want to make it easier for yourself, start in autumn – by next summer, you’ll already have a large part of the series behind you.

What should I keep in mind after the treatment? +
  • Sun protection: apply SPF 50 to the treated zone every day until your next session.
  • Avoid sunbeds and intense sun – the manufacturer recommends at least six weeks.
  • In the first few days: no sauna, no sport, no exfoliating, no hot baths.
  • Slight redness is normal and usually fades after a few hours. A soothing, moisturising lotion helps.

Offers

Do I get anything for recommending you? +

Yes. For every referral, you get 30 € off your next session as soon as the person has had their first session. Anyone who comes through you simply mentions your name when they get in touch. And if you’d like to start together: if you come to your first appointment together, you each get 30 € off your next session.

Laser hair removal in Graz

Laser hair removal is the modern solution for anyone who wants to say goodbye to daily shaving and skin irritation. Unlike shaving or waxing, laser treatment works directly at the hair root and reduces regrowth over the long term. The most popular areas are the underarms, bikini line, legs and face.

For women and men

Laser hair removal has long stopped being just a women’s topic. More and more men are choosing smooth skin on their back, chest or neck, while women tend to prefer legs, underarms and the bikini line. Thanks to modern diode laser technology, the treatment is suitable for almost all skin types.

Advantages over shaving, waxing & sugaring

Shaving often leads to irritation, ingrown hairs and daily effort; waxing only lasts a short time. Laser hair removal works at the root, reduces hair growth over the long term and is gentler, especially on sensitive skin.

Aftercare

Gentle care after the treatment is key. A soothing, moisturising lotion eases redness. For the first few days, avoid hot baths, exfoliation and direct sun. We’ll give you individual aftercare tips to take home.
